Calamigos Ranch in Malibu: Jennifer & Jeremy’s Wedding Day 9/26/09
November 6, 2009
Jen & Jeremy – met on eharmony.com believe it or not! And what a great match! This year went by so fast because it feels like just yesterday that I met with them for their Engagement Session in La Jolla. And here we are past their wedding day already. This was a beautiful wedding at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, CA. There were so many tears of joy from Jen. She looked fantastic! And just look at that smile on Jeremy’s face. I wish these two a beautiful future together! Check out some of my favorites from throughout the day.

And a special shout out to Tuan from In Eye Photography for second shooting with me. I had a great time working with you!
Ashley & Jason’s La Jolla Cliffs Wedding 10/10/09
November 5, 2009
Ashley and J were married along the cliffs of La Jolla on October 10th. It was a chilly day but their friends and family were so excited to witness this union. And what a beautiful couple! I was so happy to be a part of this celebration.

And Jacquelyn from San Diego Destination Weddings did another great job!
Hawaiian Themed Ceremony at South Beach, Coronado
November 4, 2009
Congratulations Rebecca and Robert! They have officially united their families together on Oct 4th beachside just south of The Hotel Del Coronado. I’m so happy for these two! I was only there for the ceremony (although I did volunteer to document their honeymoon in Hawaii! <wink> ) It was a beautiful sunset – although filled with a few goose bumps, I know it was worth it to them to have all their closest family members and friends there to celebrate. And I have a feeling soaking up the sun in Hawaii a few days later had them forgetting all about the chill.

Congratulations you two!
Fall in Philadelphia Between the Raindrops
November 3, 2009
Some things never change – including Philadelphia in the fall. Everyone was bundled in their latest scarves and trendy boots hustling to the next designer shop or restaurant. It was great to be in my old neighborhood! I only had a few hours downtown last Sunday – did some shopping, bought a fantastic pair of pink shoes! for the upcoming group art show on December 5th. And then we met up with my brother, Adam & his girlfriend, Dena at a little whiskey bar a few blocks from Rittenhouse Square for some fantastic appetizers and pulled pork sandwiches – yum I am hungry just thinking about them. I snapped a few images along the way & thought I would share some with all of you. I hope to get back again in December – no rain please!

Fall Colors in Pennsylvania
November 2, 2009
Nothing like a trip back to PA to enjoy a visit with family, old friends, my four-legged pals, fall leaves – and rain! But there were a few days of sun, so I snuck in some time for a walk through the fall leaves & a trip to my old stomping grounds in center city Philly .

It was great to see everyone! I can’t wait until the holidays to catch up with some more of my old friends and see my family again! Road trip with my dad this time! So stay tuned!
Still Green in San Diego
October 18, 2009
Although the light has changed and it definitely feels like fall there is still green in San Diego. Last week was a full week but I took a few moments to spend some time outside with my dogs and watch the busy little critters getting ready for the winter. Thought I would share.

Jennifer & Jeremy’s Wedding Sneak Preview
October 10, 2009
This is a super busy weekend for me but I am very excited to get started on the edit for Jennifer & Jeremy … so I thought I would share one of my favorites with you just as a teaser….
Congrats Jen & Jeremy!
Trash the Dress with Heather at Wind & Sea Beach
October 9, 2009
OK so this is more like a ‘Mess-the-Dress’ since we didn’t really ‘trash’ her dress. But I was so excited when Heather said she wanted to do this session with me. I feel like it was a perfect fit to round out their Engagement Session & Wedding Day shoots. We went to Wind & Sea Beach in La Jolla. She looked fantastic – just as pretty as her wedding day. … See for yourself!

Up, up and Away with Love!

How can you miss those eyes … …. ….

We just had to get a little wet …

And what a beautiful end to the day here in San Diego! Love it! I look forward to many more photo sessions with Heather & Shane in the years to come! Congratulations again you too!
Wow! What a great day! Heather & Shane are such a fantastic couple! I just can’t say enough about how much I like these two. When Heather & I first spoke on the phone together about their wedding day - I knew I just had to be there to capture it all. And I first met Shane at the Engagement session – & what great guy. They were game for all my suggestions – my kinda couple. You can’t help but notice the fantastic chemistry these two have together. And on August 30th they were married at the Ocean View Villas on Sunset Cliffs, in my own neighborhood of Ocean Beach. I know of a cool little beach around the way where I took them & their wedding party for some photos. And the phrase ‘you are a reflection of the company you keep’ comes to mind when I think about their family & wedding party-who could not have been nicer. Thanks for choosing me to be a part of this day – And special thanks to Carmin Cermak for sending Heather my way! It was great to work with you again.
As usual I had such a hard time deciding which images to show…

I think I’m in love with her beautiful blue shoes!

And look at these handsome fellas! The guys were so in to the photos – & where we were going with them – they actually set up the middle shot themselves while I was working with ladies!

Love those eyes!

Saying I Do … was that a tear I saw Mr. Shane? We can hardly blame you though.

And beauties in teal blue … (Ok so I had to sneak the dog photo into the blog. This little mutt was just chilling on the beach with his peeps when he decided to hop in a few photos of the wedding party. Look at that little face – too cute!)

Oh yeah!

Just lovely …

Yummy cupcakes, beautiful first dance, & some bling.

It’s not a party without cake …

and dancing

This one made me laugh – didn’t even know this shot was in this series – made me actually laugh out loud!

Congratulations Heather & Shane!
I photographed a very pretty mid-week wedding ceremony a few weeks ago for Elizabeth & Shane. What a good looking couple! Together for many years now, they finally decided to tie the knot on 9/9/09. I had a chance to work with my friend & coordinator, Jacquelyn from San Diego Destination Weddings.
